(I started making these lists for myself on my phone, but lately I’ve become preoccupied by potential of the list as a literary form. I think it’s under utilised. I think I will explore it a bit more, more regularly.)
You inspired me to start making lists and now I have many different lists on my phone. I love how they tell a story and how intimate it feels. I also find the act of making the lists strangely soothing. I suppose because I'm trying to make sense of what feels like a very fragmented and chaotic world, perhaps? Or I'm just over-thinking it! Either way, thanks for sharing.
I hear your feeling and I raise you / the peerless Magnolias especially; rejoicing in this rain free March, The Pink Cherries and Salmon Chaenomeles also.
