Being of use/having value is a big theme for me these days- particularly as I am so debilitated… I try to remind myself that I don’t expect my adored cat to be of use, or rather his use or value is simply in being a cat 🐈⬛
Precisely. I’ve struggled with the thought of it for years, and have now come to the conclusion that the things we attach use/value to are so flawed largely too that your attitude is the best. Maybe the value is in simply being however it is we are meant to be (I like lying looking at the sky?!)
